Information from WAG & WAA regarding accees to field maintenance

Welsh Government Sport Maintenance statement:
"For security and essential maintenance reasons only, green-keeping staff
can still attend work at the club by whom they are employed but not in any
capacity, including as a volunteer, if they have been furloughed. They
should only attend work for tasks that are essential to maintain the
surface(s) to a standard that will allow participants to resume playing when
the social distancing measures cease. Facility owners or the National
Governing Body of the sport are best placed to determine what defines
'essential maintenance' but they should ensure the safety and wellbeing of
green-keeping staff is not, at any time, at risk, that stringent measures
are in place to adhere to government and public health guidelines, and the
amount of time staff are at work should be kept to a minimum."

Sport Wales have also responded to my query and confirm that we are able to
maintain our fields. However they stress that where possible you should walk
or cycle to do this, obviously this will not be possible where equipment
needs transporting when you will still require to drive.

I hope this adds a little clarity and hope that we will hear more news
shortly about when we can return to shooting.

Keep safe.
